History
The Denon Home line was born to answer a direct question: how to bring more than a century of Japanese acoustic engineering to the compact wireless speaker format that the streaming era demands? Launched from 2020 as a natural extension of the Denon portfolio, the line applies the same sound philosophy as the receivers and turntables of the brand — founded in 1910 — to a new kind of product: connected multiroom speakers, designed to fit into everyday life without requiring a complete home theater system.
Every model in the line, from the compact DH150 to the DH550 soundbar with Dolby Atmos, was designed to work on its own or together, joining through HEOS Built-in into a multiroom ecosystem that can play different content in each room or sync the same music throughout the house. Native compatibility with the main streaming services, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and AirPlay 2 makes the experience as simple as opening an app, while support for high-resolution audio and Dolby Atmos Music preserves the technical rigour that has always defined Denon.
The result is a line that opens up the Denon sound signature without requiring a dedicated receiver — ideal for those looking for consistent sound quality across several rooms of a connected home, with the flexibility to expand the system gradually, speaker by speaker, as the project evolves.
